Music Theory
The Music Theory course is a weekly half hour lesson just on theory. The course is not instrument oriented and will mostly be made up of lectures, worksheets and other assignments. memorization of notes on both treble and bass clefs.
-
Time signatures and note values.

While this course is intended for beginners it can be adapted to address more advanced music theory concepts such as chart analysis, musicianship, chord progressions, modes, advanced scales, transposition, transcription and composition, Most of these subjects will be covered in the guitar and piano courses as well, but if you want a more in depth theory course that is not instrument oriented, this is a good course to take.
